So even though technically shouldn’t have time for it, I love watching movies. Usually I’m no big buff, I just watch what I feels like, using the recently released ones as a guide. And I have to admit that I’m not always watching the latest stuff.

iron1 A movie that I just watched today that I should have seen a long time ago is Iron Man. I acutally regret not seeing it sooner even more as soon as I realized that I love this movie. It’s an action movie with clear comic-extravaganza, but it has humour. To me it seems obvious for Robert Downey Jr. to play the lead, I couldn’t imaging anyone else pulling off the cocky yet hilarious comments that his character has. But what do I know. I’m no big comics fan so the way I see comics is when they’re turned into movies for the big screen.

Anyway, there are some movies arriving in the year of 2009 that I’m gonna keep my eyes open for. One of them is Monsters vs. Aliens which is another of Dreamworks animations. I can’t help but to love animated movies.

Another one is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen since I loved the first one. Unlike my ex, Transformers isn’t something I grew up with, but I loved the first movie.

Another sequal is Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian and since the first Night At The Museum was an easily watched affair that was amusing enough for me to re-watch, I’m hpoing this won’t be too bad.

There supposed to be a Final Destination 4 coming out, but I think the concept got kinda old after the second one. It was a cool first movie though.

Jennifer’s Body is from the writer if Juno, which was another awesome movie, so I have high hopes for this one. I’m no fan of Megan Fox though.

Something I don’t look forward to is Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince. I feel that those movies has ruined a good story. I love the books, but to me the movies are crap. Each time I try to be open minded and give one of them another shot I get dissapointed. It’s The DaVinci Code all over again. But then the casting sucked ass too.

Since Borat terrorized us in 2006, I guess that 2009 will be the year that Sacha Baron Cohen unleashes another one of his characters upon us, Bruno. Since I hate Borat and don’t hate Ali G quite that much, I’m hoping I might atleast not dislike this one. I’ve seen skits of Bruno and then I liked him, so I’m gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Then I wanna see G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. There’s alot of good names in that one. And hey, Channing Tatum’s n is so it can’t be that bad ;)

Sometimes is feels like when they can’t make more sequals to bring the story forward, the go back and start from before the beginning. It happened with Star Wars, James Bond and Batman. Now it will happen to X-men with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I always thought he was the coolest one out of them though.

So now that I’ve had my movie-craze I can get one with the year :)

Spore and glas beads distracts from essay

As I’m sitting here trying to work on the essay, I find other things to preoccupy my mind. The worst part is that I do it semi-intentionally. I mean, I know I need to work on the essay, but I can’t focus. It must be because I’m so damned bored with this essay and that it’s really tedious work.

Last week my distraction was Spore. My mom got me the game and I love it. I love the Sims and this is the same type of game. It’s awesome. I spent like an entire day last week playing it. From about noon until 2 am that night, with a dinnerbreak. I love to create and rule the world. I haven’t played with the online feature yet though. I applaud the fact that it didn’t only come for PC, but for Mac aswell. The updating patch didn’t work for me though, but as soon as I skipped the update, it worked like a charm. I do wonder though why it’s required to right-click in part of the game when one of the most obvious differences between Mac and PC is that Mac’s don’t have the right-click feature. Thank God for the two finger-click options on the steering pad. See? There’s always a way around problems ;)

This week my dstraction have been glas bead bracelets. I found my mom’s jar of glas beads that she used to make bracelets of when she was younger. I’ve now made four and I’m gonna put them all on. Once the fishing line is melted in place, I hope they won’t break before some people gets to se them on. Aren’t they pretty? 8->

Now I need to get back to the darn essay. I wish you the best for your 2009.
